SCROLL DOWN
HEALTHY SOIL. LESS WATER. BETTER FOR OUR PLANET.
WASTE ISN’T WASTE UNLESS WE WASTE IT.
We’re upcycling the old and making it new again.
Instead of getting rid of excess fabric and letting it add to the landfill, we're weaving it into new materials. In FY23, we repurposed 570 tonnes of fabric waste through multiple channels such as blending a portion of it with recycled plastic bottles to create new fibres for our recycled sweat collection. This recycled collection used up to 25% less carbon and 95% less water than similar styles.
Working with Oxfam, our UK in-store customers have the option to donate their clothing for resale and help fund great causes. This is used to help fight poverty and inequality around the world, including supporting communities on the frontline of climate change.

NEVER FORGET: USING WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE IS ONE OF THE EASIEST WAYS TO REDUCE OUR WATER AND CARBON FOOTPRINT.
What happens to my clothes once donated?
We resell those pre-loved items in local Oxfam stores, online, or even at festivals. And anything that isn't sold is reused or recycled. When you donate your clothes to Oxfam, you're helping to reduce the amount of clothing that goes to landfill.
Why is recycling pre-loved clothing so important?
When you give your once-favourite garments a new home, you're extending their lifespan and ensuring they get the wear they deserve. Not only does re-circulating extend the life of your pre-loved clothing but it also helps reduce the amount that ends up going to waste, and helps to raise money for Oxfam to support communities on the front line of climate change too – something we can all get behind.
How much has been donated via Superdry so far?
2302 saleable items have been donated through the scheme, raising an estimated value of £12,486. This is used to help fight poverty and inequality around the world, including supporting communities on the frontline of climate change.
What are the benefits of donating denim in particular?
All donations are welcome but let’s face it, everyone loves a good pair of jeans. Timeless, durable, and classically versatile, we wear them all the time. But they're also easy to upcycle too – making them great for resale.
GOLDEN STATE
Consciously crafted, our Recycled Collection is just that – created using recycled materials – including textile waste.
Kinder to both planet and people, organic cotton uses 87% less water and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 14% compared to conventional cotton.
Mother Nature is important. Instead of letting plastic bottles and waste pollute the very earth that sustains us, we’ve been collecting it and turning it into padding for our jackets.
